From their black-and-white beginnings to the colorful stories about their unforgettable adventures, Disney’s Mickey and Friends have always represented optimism, imagination and that unmistakable sense of wonder that feels like home.
On January 27, 2026, Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs celebrates these seminal characters with the arrival of the Disney Mickey & Friends Vol.3 Legendary Edition.
This moment isn’t just about collecting. It’s about honoring history.
The Legendary Edition Release: A Unique Moment in Time
From 8 AM PST to 9 AM PST on January 27, 2026, a limited number of Legendary Mystery Capsules will become available. Only 40 capsules will be released, each containing one Legendary Edition digital pin from this Mickey & Friends collection. The waiting room for the queue will open at 7 AM PST for collectors to join.
There are 164 total Legendary Edition digital pins that are spread across 4 variants within this set. The designs of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck that are available within the set include unique digital elements that are elevated and premium.
While every Legendary Mystery Capsule guarantees a Legendary pin, the specific variant to be revealed remains part of the mystery. Some designs appear more frequently, while others are exceptionally rare.
There are no initial reserves or holdbacks for this drop.
When the Story Continues: Open Edition Release
Starting at 9 AM PST on January 27th, 2026, the celebration continues with the launch of Disney Mickey & Friends: Winter Adventures Vol.1, an Open Edition digital pin set that invites collectors to join the fun of the season.
Each Open Edition Mystery Capsule offers one of six Mickey & Friends digital pins, featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto. These Open Edition digital pins are available until 9 AM PST on February 17th,2026.
But there’s also something more.
A Hidden Spark: Legendary Edition Possibilities in Open Edition
Every Open Edition Disney Mickey & Friends: Winter Adventures Vol.1 Mystery Capsule carries a 0.5% chance of revealing a Legendary Edition digital pin inside, while supplies last.
Within that 0.5% chance, each Legendary variant is revealed based on its proportional presence in the remaining Legendary pool.
Once the Open Edition release ends, if any Legendary Edition variants or notable serials (such as #1 or perfect serials) remain undistributed, Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs reserves the right to retain select editions for future promotional use. Any remaining editions not designated for future use will be burned.
New Legendary Edition Starter Digital Pinbook Backgrounds
Alongside the Disney Mickey & Friends Vol.3 Legendary Edition, collectors will have the opportunity to unlock up to four Starter digital Pinbook backgrounds, each one reminiscent of a Legendary variant: Quartis, Xenith, Quinova and Apex.
Each background is directly tied to its corresponding Legendary variant.
Collect one Legendary digital pin of a specific variant, and you’ll receive the Starter digital Pinbook background designed to display it. The character you collect doesn’t matter, only the variant itself does.
For example:

Collect one Quartis variant featuring any Mickey & Friends character, and you’ll unlock the Quartis Pinbook background.

Collect one Xenith, Quinova and Apex variant, and you’ll unlock the background that matches each Legendary variant.
And because each variant has its own background, collecting different Legendary variants means unlocking multiple Pinbook backgrounds. Every Legendary Edition digital pin adds another digital Pinbook background to your collection.
How to Qualify for This Starter Digital Pinbook Background
To ensure accurate delivery, collectors must complete and hold their set cards during the designated snapshot windows.
- Fill in at least one digital pin in the corresponding Legendary Edition variant Set card.
- Hold from 10 AM to 12 PM PST on February 2nd, 2026.
- All qualifying collectors for the Legendary Edition Starter Pinbook backgrounds will be delivered by 3 PM PST on February 2nd, 2026.
Completing the Story: A Special Background for Set Completion
There’s one more reward.
Collectors who fully complete the Disney Mickey & Friends: Winter Adventures Vol.1 Open Edition set will receive a special Pinbook background designed to celebrate full set completion.
This Starter digital Pinbook background is reserved for those who fill all variant Set Completion cards using all six digital pins from the release.

Open Edition Set Completion Background
- Fill in the Standard, Silver Sparkle, Golden and Digital Display Set Completion cards with all six digital pins from the Open Edition release.
- Hold from 10 AM to 12 PM PST on February 17th, 2026.
- All qualifying collectors for the Open Edition Starter Pinbook backgrounds will be delivered by 3 PM PST on February 17th, 2026.
