Its time again for Star Wars™ day! Every year, May the 4th brings an exciting time for fans of Star Wars everywhere. Its a great time to pull out prized collectibles and bring them front and center and put your favorite film or show on repeat.
May the 4th has emerged from the collective passion of Star Wars enthusiast from around the world. It is a grassroots phenomenon that now transcends the English language pun that inspired it and once again, Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs is joining the celebration..
Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs Presents: The Event Featuring Star Wars is a 7-day limited event drop running May 4–11, 2026. Pull Mystery Capsules, trade with fellow collectors in the Galactic Exchange, and chase the headline prize! A one-of-a-kind Genesis Edition digital pin that could be yours.
What's Inside the Mystery Capsule
Every pull opens from a single capsule pool at $4.99 per pull, featuring four edition types which is the most in a single Disney Pinnacle event to date.
Open Edition (OE) — Star Wars Collection
48 digital pins across 12 shapes and 4 variants: Standard, Silver Sparkle, Gold, and Digital Display. The entry point for every collector building their Star Wars collection.
Limited Edition (LE) — Droid Set
A serialized set of 5 Droid digital pins, each with a hard supply cap. BB-8 is the chase pin, minted at 40% fewer than the rest of the set. Here are the other 4 droids to chase down:

Limited Event Edition (LEE) — May the 4th
Two exclusive digital pins available only during this event:
- May the 4th — Jedi (252 mints)
- May the 4th — Empire (252 mints)
Combined: exactly 504 total mints which is a deliberate nod to the date. These are initially available through Mystery Capsule pulls and will not appear in the Revolving Storefront.
Genesis Edition (GEN) — 1-of-1
One Star Wars Genesis Edition digital pin is embedded in the capsule pool. The hunt begins May 4th at 9 AM PDT.
The Genesis Hunt
The Genesis Edition is the headline chase of the event. Base odds are 0.004% (1 in 25,000) for the first four days. If the Genesis pin remains unclaimed through Day 4, odds change on the following published schedule:
May 4–7: 0.004% · 1 in 25,000
May 8: 0.008% · 1 in 12,500
May 9: 0.05% · 1 in 2,000
May 11: 0.5% · 1 in 200
By the final day, discovery is virtually guaranteed.
The Galactic Exchange — Trade Your Way to Rewards
Running alongside capsule sales from May 4–11, the Galactic Exchange is a live trading event. Reach trading milestones during the event window to earn a dedicated Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pin. For each tier you reach, you will receive the pin, up to 3 pins total.
Tier 1 — 5 trades: Colored Enamel
Tier 2 — 25 trades: Embellished Enamel
Tier 3 — 75 trades: Color Splash
A few things to know before you trade:
- Trades must be between unique accounts within the campaign window
- Pins exchanged must be different and therefore wash trading is disqualified
- The first 5 trades with the same partner count in full; trades 6 and beyond with that partner earn zero credit
Rewards are distributed post-campaign on May 11–12. Pinbook backgrounds will be distributed to all trading participants that reach the 75 trade milestone by May 11 at 1pm PT.
Capsule Participation Rewards
Every collector who opens a capsule during the event window earns a bonus Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pin. The more capsules you purchase, the higher the variant:
1+ capsules: Colored Enamel
10+ capsules: Embellished Enamel
25+ capsules: Color Splash
For each tier you reach, you will receive the pin, up to 3 pins total. Rewards are awarded automatically post-campaign on May 11–12.

Capsule Sales & Trading Opens: May 4, 9:00 AM PDT

Trading Window Closes: May 11, 1:00 PM PDT

How to Participate
1. Download the app. If you haven't already, download Disney Pinnacle on iOS or Android and create your account.
2. Join the drop. On May 4, pins will immediately go on sale at 9 AM PDT.
3. Pull your capsules. Every pull comes from the same pool — OE, LE Droids, LEE May the 4th pins, and the Genesis 1-of-1 are all in there.
4. Trade in the Galactic Exchange. Start trading with other collectors from the moment the event opens to climb the milestone tiers and earn your trading reward.
5. Chase the Genesis. It's in there. Someone is going to find it. May the Force be with you.
